SOUTH AFRICA: Administrative Secretary
The Non Profit Partnership (The NPP), an NPO committed to supporting democratic transformation by strengthening the financial sustainability of the non-profit sector in South Africa, is looking to appoint an Administrative Secretary.
The Non Profit Partnership (The NPP) is an NPO committed to supporting democratic transformation by strengthening the financial sustainability of the non-profit sector in South Africa. The NPP provides a range of creative services to NPOs. These include providing information and advice, lobbying for relevant legislative and financial
policy changes and offering financial sustainability training.
We wish to appoint an Administrative Secretary to the Director and the Human Resources Coordinator. The incumbent will be based at our Johannesburg office.
Duties will include:
* Maintenance of appropriate information systems and ensuring the smooth running of the Director’s office. This includes assisting the Director with organizing, coordinating and maintaining processes internally and externally.
* Managing the offices of the Director and the HR Coordinator
* Liaison with internal and external stakeholders for both offices
* Support for Board and Management Meetings
* Performing of general office duties
Requirements:
* 5 years working experience in administration and secretarial positions
* At least a matric level academic qualification
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Computer literacy
* Knowledge and skills in implementing and maintaining office administrative systems
* Knowledge of the donor/development and non-governmental sectors
* Self-management skills
