The Social Change Assistance Trust (Scat) is a Cape Town based,
independent funding and development organisation. Our aim is to
empower the rural poor, to strengthen civil society and promote social
change.

We do this by supporting local agencies working for development in rural
communities. We work in partnership with those whom we fund by offering
support in organisational development and capacity building.
