Gender Links, a Johannesburg-based NGO specialising in gender and the media
in Southern Africa, is seeking a suitably qualified programme officer for an
initial one year contract. Interested candidates should have:
* a firm grounding in gender issues;
* excellent administrative skills, including experience in organising
workshops;
* the ability to write reports;
* excellent inter-personal skills;
* computer, Internet and E Mail literacy.
* the ability to work in a small office, with minimal supervision.

The following would be an advantage:
* media background/experience
* basic financial/ book keeping skills.
* experience/knowledge of the SADC region.

Salary: negotiable, depending on experience. Start date: As soon as
possible.
