The Youth Development Network (YDN) is a national network of seven
youth development NGO’s. It is committed to building the capacity of
it’s member organisations and the youth sector and to raise the quality
and standard of youth development programmes.

The YDN seeks a PROGRAMMES MANAGER for it’s National Office in
Johannesburg. The Programmes Manager will be responsible for:
- monitor and manage capacity building programmes for member
organisations and the YDN national programmes
- ensuring integration of the YDN national programmes
- provide assistance and support to member organisations
- provide organisational development assistance and monitoring
support to the YDN funded projects
- preparing detailed reports for donors
- networking and representing the YDN

The skills and qualifications required are:
- minimum of 5 years experience in the NGO sector
- experience in youth development programmes and sector
- a university degree
- good writing, reporting and communication skills
- experience in organisational development
- a drivers license
- preparedness to travel

Knowledge of an African language would be an advantage. A suitable
remuneration package is offered. Applicants are requested to send their
