ACORD is an Africa led international Agency working in alliance with its members to promote social justice and development with an income £8 million per annum.

We are looking for a dynamic person to manage the delivery of all aspects of its programming across 18 countries in Africa and through 4 cross cutting thematic programmes and a global programme which gives the overall strategic framework to our programming.

In conjunction with 3 Assistant Programming Directors you will manage the Programming Directorate and through them the individual programmes. You will also participate as a member of the Senior Management team with the shared responsibility of the future development of the organisation.

ACORD is relocating its central office to Africa; you will manage the setting up of the Nairobi office, raising ACORD’s profile with key development actors in Africa and ensuring ACORD’s programmes are delivered to the highest standards.
