REDRESS, the innovative and proactive human rights charity which assists torture survivors to obtain justice and reparation worldwide is now looking for experienced and committed individuals to fulfil a number of challenging posts, based in London.

Legal Advisor (UK) [Ref RCF01] S/he will organise legal assistance for torture survivors to help them obtain justice and reparation in the UK; and define, implement and direct an effective legal strategy to improve the access of torture survivors to UK courts to pursue reparation, and to ensure that alleged torturers are prosecuted in the UK.

Legal Advisor (International) [Ref R02] S/he will organise legal assistance for torture survivors in their home countries and/or before regional and international fora; and develop and implement strategies for improving international standards and practices relating to the right to reparation.

Project Director (Anti-Impunity Resource)[Ref R03] A joint project with the San Francisco
based Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA). The Project Director will be responsible for
implementing the collection and dissemination of information relating to universal jurisdiction; and for supporting prosecutions that conform to international fair trial standards.

Project Coordinator (Audit: A Survey Of National Law And Practice On Redress For
Torture)[Ref R04] The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing and implementing a
comprehensive review of the law and practice on redress for torture in selected countries in all regions of the world. This will involve: NGO outreach; collection and publication; and follow-up - the development of ways to improve national law and practice.
