Objectives

To train government and other agency staff in conceptual and practical skills in relation to the governance aspects of CBNRM

To provide information on comparative experiences of CBNRM policy and practice in southern Africa

To discuss and debate key issues of CBNRM policy and practice in a southern African context

To provide a forum for government, NGO staff and private sector to share experiences and discuss collaborative activities and cross-sectoral linkages aimed at facilitating integrated approaches to sustainable community resource management
