Morgan Tsvangirai

On 15 February 2018, I got up to the news that our leader, President Morgan Tsvangirai, of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) had passed on the previous night. As is my custom, I had gotten up to do some reading on developments in our country and around the globe.

Fidel Castro’s aphorism: “A revolution is a struggle to the death between the future and the past” fits the late Morgan Tsvangirai like a glove.  Morgan lived very much in the present, every moment of his life, and forever trying to bridge the huge gap in Zimbabwe’s past and the future.&nbsp
