Republic of South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa hosted the tenth BRICS Summit where strong opposition to the burgeoning trade and currency wars initiated by the United States administration of President Donald Trump was assailed.

I am interested in this question from a surveillance and intelligence perspective.

If anything, two of the BRICS powers – China and India – are investing billions of dollars in coal-fired thermal-power generation in Africa while winning global applause for increasing their solar and wind power at home.
