Oxfam Great Britain is an International NGO working with others to find
lasting solutions to poverty and suffering. Oxfam GB has supported a
programme in Rwanda since the 1970s and is currently operating in the
Northwest and Northeast of the country. The head office, which serves as the
main support to the programme, is based in Kigali. Oxfam GB?s programme in
Rwanda has traditionally focused on health, water, sanitation and responding

developing the Rwanda peace building programme, the candidate will spend
some of his or her time supporting the Oxfam GB regional policy co-ordinator
based in Addis Ababa on developing and implementing Oxfam GB?s regional
peace building programme for the Horn, East and Central Africa.
Responsibilities of the post will include both day-to-day support to the
field based project managers, as well as overall programmatic planning and
goal setting.
A background in conflict resolution theory and practice is required. Some
