You are cordially invited to participate in the Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics (ABCDE) Europe on June 25 & 26. The conference will be held on-line for two-hours each day (2:30-4:30 pm Paris time) and will feature web casts of keynote addresses and panel discussions by leading figures in development.
Registered participants will send questions and comments via e-mail for real-time responses from the featured speakers. The President of the World
Bank, James D. Wolfensohn will deliver a keynote address. Other speakers will include Professor Jeffrey G. Williamson of Harvard University and Professor Jomo Kwame Sundaram from the University of Malaya, as well as representatives from
civil society and government. Topics include Development in a World Without Borders and Policies and Actions to Accompany Globalization.
