The Community Education Computer Society (a computer training NGO established in 1985) will be conducting the ICDL course from the 18 March 2002 for 6 weeks for those who are computer literate.

(ICDL)

The Community Education Computer Society (a computer training NGO established in 1985) will be conducting the ICDL course from the 18 March 2002 for 6 weeks for those who are computer literate. The ICDL is recognised in over 30 countries as well as by UNISA, Wits and SAQA.

MODULES: Introduction to Computers * Windows 95/98 * Word
97/2000 * Excel 97/2000 * PowerPoint 97/2000 * Access 97/2000 * Internet
Services. The modules cover Beginners and Intermediate levels.

SCHEDULE: The course starts 18 March 2002 for 6 weeks, Mon to Thu from 8:30 - 12:00 with some Fridays being compulsory. Registrations will be accepted till 25 March 2002.

FEE: The cash fee is R1 700.00 and the term fee is R1 900.00. However, a R300.00 discount is available. We have attractive discounts for group bookings from organisations.

OTHER COURSES: Typing (this course is free); Computer Literacy Certificate (for those who have never touched a computer before); Information Literacy (certificated by Wits University); A+ PC Technician (learn how to fix, upgrade computers)

SERVICES: We also offer affordable Business Services (typing, faxing, laminating, binding, photocopying, scanning, business cards) and Technical Services (fixing computers, upgrading computers, installing hardware and software, removing viruses)
