This three-day course tackles the difficult problem of writing speeches. This course is not about your speciality or discipline, but about how to apply standard methods of speech writing to whatever you have at hand.

This course is a must for all communication officials from public/ private sectors, NGO's,
trade unions - tasked with writing speeches for superiors. It will also greatly benefit executives who write and deliver their own speeches. The course will help you understand how listeners think; argue logically, analytically, effectively; discover the secrets of "spinning" your speech to the media. It will focus on two main areas: Writing and Delivery. Also included in the course content are:

* The basics of speech building - beginnings, middles, ends
* How audiences think - managing expectations
* Choosing language that sends the right signals
* Hooking the media
* Successful speech delivery
