CREA hereby announces the availability of an
Annual Program Statement (APS) that offers an opportunity for qualified South African non-profit organizations (NPOs) to submitapplications
for funding to support the USAID Criminal Justice Strengthening Programme (CJSP).

More specifically the APS is seeking applications from programmes aimed at preventing and reducing crimes against women and children; domestic violence; juvenile offenses and corruption.

The purpose of the APS is:
1) to describe the USAID/South Africa Democracy and Governance Program, specifically the program component entitled "Crime and
Violence Prevention;

2) to invite applications from South African non-profit organizations for activities that fall within the four focus areas of the Crime and Violence Prevention component, and

3) to explain the procedures by which applications will be selected.
