A media advocacy organisation whose objective is to promote media freedom, diversity and pluralism is seeking to fill the following position:

ADMINISTRATOR / OFFICE MANAGER

Major responsibilities:
office
The incumbent will be responsible for the administration of the organisation.
Specific Duties:
Organising Seminars and Workshops
Taking minutes during National Governing Council Meetings
Working closely with the Director
Filing and keeping records in an orderly manner
Making all logistical arrangements during events;
Attending to all visitors who visit the office
Receiving and distributing all incoming telephone calls and messages.
Supervising the Office Orderly

The position requires a person with at least some experience in administration preferably in an NGO, high organisational skills, good public relations and communication skills and interest in media issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A diploma in Administration studies, Public Relations or related studies.
Must be computer literate
Excellent communication skills
REMUNERATION

A competitive package commensurate with qualifications and experience is offered.
