For the past four hundred years and more peoples of the African World have been fighting to resist the European military, spiritual, psychological, political and economic onslaughts. In the process, a range of strategies have been devised, adopted and developed.

The year 2016 will be the 60th anniversary of a relatively unknown experiment in socio-economic organising. It is a model that has shown that there are serious and sustainable alternative ways of organising the economic system.
