Your responsibilities will include programme implementation, systems evaluation, epidemiological and demographic data collection and reporting as well as making and maintaining co-operative links with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in Kenya and internationally.

The post-holder will also identify and provide support to local organisations in the area of HIV/STI prevention and provide stakeholders with specialist advice on MSM and other sexual minority groups as well as supporting the training of VCT counsellors and other health care providers.

Minimum Requirements (negotiable):

VCT Training Certificate
3 years post-secondary relevant experience Excellent knowledge and understanding of basic computer packages Fluency in both English and Kiswahili, written and oral Excellent understanding and knowledge of HIV and sexual health as it pertains to target group HIV/SH/RH/FP programme design, implementation and evaluation experience Knowledge of rights and legal issues as pertaining to target group Understanding of research process Excellent understanding of participatory approach, gender and GIPA principles Preferred:

HIV/SH/RH/FP or other relevant diploma level education Experience working with target group or other vulnerable group(s)

Experience in proposal writing and fund-raising Experience in funds-utilization and reporting Member of target group Individuals open about their LGBTI sexual orientation and those living with HIV are encouraged to apply.
