Awethu! A People’s Platform for Social Justice was launched in November 2013 with a very specific mandate: to work for social justice in South Africa with like-minded civil society organisations. Since then, Awethu!

The search of viable strategies to bring about sustainable development that would propel Africa into development has been top on the agenda of the African Union. It is in this context that Africa’s Agenda 2063 has come into existence.
