To complement the online job-matching we do at Idealist, we recently launched a series of nonprofit career fairs where organizations and nonprofit job-seekers can meet face-to-face. The first cycle of fairs, in March and April of this year, drew 500 organizations and 4,200 job seekers in nine cities across the United States, and we are now opening the next cycle for registration.

As you may remember, to complement the online job- matching we do at Idealist, we recently launched a series of nonprofit career fairs where organizations and nonprofit job-seekers can meet face-to-face.
The first cycle of fairs, in March and April of this year, drew 500 organizations and 4,200 job seekers in nine cities across the United States, and we are now opening the next cycle for registration. (If your are not in the United States, please see the special note below.)
All of these fairs are *free* for individuals, while organizations pay only $50 to help cover our costs.
Over the next few weeks, several more cities will be added to this list, workshops and panels will be added to each fair, and you'll be able to see which organizations are registering for which fair.
Right now, the following fairs are open for registration at http://www.idealist.org/fairs.html

October 4 New Orleans
October 11 Miami

We are now working on our first fairs in London and in several Canadian cities, and we hope to have firm dates for them soon.
In addition, next year we'd love to see such fairs happening in other cities around the world. The first step for each city is to find a local university to provide the space for the event.
If you think that in your city there are enough organizations that might be interested in attending a nonprofit career fair, and you are connected to a local university or other institution that could host it and provide the space for it, please write [email protected]
