Global: Human rights researchers (3 posts) - Frontline

Front Line; The International Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders, is seeking to recruit three experienced human rights researchers. The successful candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to deliver accurate work in a high pressure environment dictated by the need to respond urgently to threats against human rights defenders.

Salary according to experience. Assistance with relocation is available.

Senior Protection Coordinator

Front Line is seeking someone with at least five years human rights related experience including time spent working with human rights defenders in the field. This new position will take lead responsibility for Front Line's work for the protection of human rights defenders in a particular world region as well as leading the professional development of Front Line's research and protection methodology. Based in the Front Line office in Blackrock, Ireland. Candidates should be fluent in English and French. Knowledge of any of Front Line's other working languages (Arabic, Russian & Spanish) would be an advantage.

Protection Coordinator (Field-based x 2)

Front Line is seeking two people with at least three years human rights related experience including time spent working with human rights defenders in the field. These new positions will take lead responsibility for Front Line's work for the protection of human rights defenders in the Middle East and North Africa and in the former Soviet Union. The posts will be based in the regions with extensive travel. Candidates should be fluent in Arabic and English or in Russian and English.
