Global Corruption Report

Transparency International (TI), the anti-corruption NGO, is seeking an
Assistant Project Manager for its Global Corruption Report (GCR). The
Global Corruption Report, which provides an annual assessment of the
state of corruption around the world, is a flagship publication of
Transparency International. The position is based at TI's Secretariat in Berlin, Germany.
The Assistant Project Manager's duties combine editing and project
management. Tasks include the following:
· Commissioning writers and editing the report;
· Acquiring and analysing research materials;
· Locating and liaising with report authors, anti-corruption experts
and activists;
· Overseeing the publication process
· Coordinating promotional activities, in conjunction with TI's public
relations team;
· Budget management;
· Authoring funding proposals and reports;
· Other general project management tasks.

Qualifications for the position include:
· Native English speaker;
· Master's in international or comparative politics, international or
development economics,
international law, or a related social science discipline;
· Minimum 2 years' work experience in a research, policy, publishing,
or related capacity;
with international and non-profit experience preferred;
· Experience editing and/or managing publications;
· Familiarity with empirical social science methodologies and
statistics;
· Knowledge of, or considerable interest in, the work of TI and the
field of anti-corruption.
