The Curriculum Development Project Trust (CDP), based in Gauteng, is a dynamic developmental NGO dedicated to the training of educators and learners in Arts and Culture in formal and non-formal sectors, requires a person who will ensure efficient project and office management as well as provide support to the Director and project staff.
Responsibilities: You will be required to become familiar with the ethos
of the CDP and enable the work of the Board of Trustees by:
. Ensuring effective project management
. Forming the reporting link between projects and management and
implementing relevant systems and procedures
. Preparing and presenting reports for management and funders
. Manage own budget
. Manage day-to-day staff matters.
Support the functions of the Director by:
. Doing groundwork for fund raising
. at times represent the CDP at functions, and any other task
that may be required from time to time
Requirements: Requirements: At least four years experience of effective
administrative planning and management of projects and/or organisation
co-ordination
. Excellent computer skills
. Excellent oral and writing skills in English
. Attention to detail
. Some understanding of financial management
. Initiative and good problem solving skills
. Ability to meet deadlines
. Ability to provide support and organisation skills to project leaders
. Good people skills
. Ability to work democratically
. Ability to communicate in an African language will be an advantage
. Experience in an NGO or development work, and a drivers license will be an advantage.
