Call for Papers: Children in Africa, Journal of Family History, 01/08

The Journal of Family History will be publishing a special issue on Children in African History. Professor Martin Klein and I will be serving as guest editors for this issue. The editors are interested in a range of themes including education, crime, health, slavery, adoption, pawning and child-rearing. This list is by no means exclusive and other relevant themes are welcome. We are particularly interested in articles focusing on the colonial period. Submissions must be original and previously unpublished. Interested individuals should send an abstract (400 words) and CV as an email attachment to
